Mycelarium, the Steam game by PLAN KAPKAN, is a Windows-only title with official minimum and recommended PC specs on Steam. This page copies those numbers as of 2026-10-31. For planned launch timing see the Mycelarium release date page; for the free Demo see the Mycelarium Demo page; common pricing and platform questions sit on the Mycelarium FAQ.

Does Mycelarium run on Windows 7, 10 and 11?
The minimum OS line on Steam is Windows 7 (64 Bit). The recommended line is Windows 11 (64 Bit). Verified Windows 10 fits between those two tiers for many players, but the store page does not name Windows 10 on its own row.
Below the requirements, Steam notes that starting 2024-01-01, the Steam client supports Windows 10 and above only. That footnote is Valve’s platform policy, not an extra OS line inside the game’s minimum table. Verified If you still run Windows 7, you may need a supported Windows version to install or update Steam even though the game listing still mentions Windows 7 as minimum.
Is there a Mac, Linux or Steam Deck version?
The Steam app details API lists windows: true, mac: false, and linux: false for the full game. Verified No macOS or Linux build is listed on the store page we checked.
Steam Deck compatibility has not been stated by PLAN KAPKAN on the official store listing we use as a source. Third-party summary sites disagree, so this wiki treats Deck status as not announced rather than quoting unofficial labels. Not announced
Are the Demo requirements different?
The Mycelarium Demo on Steam (AppID 5371480) is free and Windows only, like the full game. Verified Its published spec block matches the full game for OS, processor, graphics, storage, and sound card. The Demo listing does not repeat the Memory (RAM) rows that appear on the full-game page, so compare RAM using the full-game table above. Verified
Demo and full release share English-only UI text on Steam and the same single-player category flags we saw on 2026-10-31. Verified Download and version notes for Demo 2.0 are on /info/mycelarium-demo/.
We do not claim any hardware “runs great,” target frame rates, or laptop model recommendations—PLAN KAPKAN has not supplied independent benchmarks, and we have not completed our own performance testing before launch.
